Just found your awesome website. I'm very excited to see some of my maternal grandparents history. Their surnames were Hildebrandt and Guze.

HI, Just visiting for the first time. My Great Grandparents, on my father's and mother's side arrivied here sometime in the 1896 or 1898 era. Landed in the Gilbert Plains and Fork River and pioneered. I was brought up in Garland, and then in Dauphin. Ny mother was born in Venlaw and living in a care home in Kelowna, Bc. When I get to Winnipeg next time,I would like to take my Uncle Nick Burdeny to the Cultural centre, what times is it open? As well is there any good Ukrainian food there. Anyone who would like to contact me in Vancouver, please send me an Email. On behalf of my ancestors and family, I wish to thank you all, past and present for doing such good work in preserving our heritage. I might have some antiques to donate, can I send them or drop them of? I remain, Donald M. Burdeny, (great grandfather's original name was Burdeyney, and mother's side great grandpa's name was Czhwartkowski and great grandma was Merko)
